Hi guys! My name is Sebastian, and I am a ring-tailed lemur that lives at Wild Florida Adventure Park! Wild Florida has been my home for 10 years, alongside my mom Lola, brother, Alberto, and the rest of our lemur troop.
I hope to meet you in person one day so I can show off my famous striped tail and maybe swing by to say hello!

Though ring-tailed lemurs are known for spending plenty of time on the ground, Sebastian prefers the high life, often found swinging above it all on his favorite perch. With his playful personality and curious nature, Sebastian has become a guest favorite, teaching visitors what makes lemur families so unique and helping them connect with these social, fun-loving animals in a way that sticks long after their visit.
Sebastian is easy to spot in the troop: just look for the chubbiest of the lemurs. With his signature Hershey Kiss-shaped eyebrow marking and a little extra roundness, he stands out in the best way and always steals the spotlight.

Ring-tailed lemurs are naturally curious and social, and Sebastian loves meeting new faces. During your encounter, you may see him climb, explore, or get a little closer to check things out. While they’re playful and engaging, they’re still wild animals, so guests should be gentle, respectful, and give them space to feel comfortable.
Ring-tailed lemurs have a lot to say, and they don’t just use their voices. They communicate through chirps and calls, body language like their signature high-held tails, and even scent marking. It’s how they connect, show personality, and keep their tight-knit groups working together out in the wild.
Sebastian’s days are packed with plenty of fun and friends. He usually joins 2–3 Lemur Encounters, where he gets to meet guests and show off his playful side. In between, you’ll likely find him snacking or hanging out in his habitat with his brother Alberto, always keeping things lively.
You absolutely can! Many guests come to visit the ring-tailed lemur enclosure at Wild Florida, where you may get a glimpse of Sebastian himself. You can also meet Sebastian (and his lemur friends!) up close during our Ring-Tailed Lemur Encounter!
Sebastian helps guests learn about this endangered Madagascar species, from their social natures to their adorable sunbathing habits, and much more. Through education and animal care interactions, he reminds us of the importance of conservation and respect for wildlife.
